I did not receive an email I was expecting (downloads/registration/etc.)
- Ensure you entered your email address correctly.
- Check your spam folder.
- Check your filter settings and make sure you allow mail from: effective-fx.com and/or us1.azurecomm.net.
- Some email providers aggressively filter automated emails. Create a Problem Ticket below - there are workarounds for everything!
I bought a coffee but still see banner ads in Poltergeist.
You may have to restart your DAW before the change carries. If this doesn't solve the issue, create a Problem Ticket below and I'll fix this for you promptly!
How do I download/install plugins?
- Enter your email into the "Email Download Links for..." box on an effect page and go to step 2, or download directly by clicking the appropriate download button (Poltergeist only) and go to step 3.
- Click the download link that corresponds to the operating system (Windows or macOS) and plugin format (AU, VST3, etc.) that you want to download and install.
- Run the installer that you just downloaded and follow the installer instructions to ensure the plugin installs in a folder accessible to your DAW.
- Open your DAW and find the plugin you just installed. You'll be prompted for an email address - enter one that is valid and accessible to you. A confirmation code will be sent to that email.
- Open the registered email and enter the confirmation code into the plugin window. Note that the confirmation code will expire 20 minutes after it's sent.
