In the beginning, distortion was an accident, caused by a faulty vacuum tube. And Superimposer is caused by faulty programming! In an alternate universe, where digital audio comes before analog, Superimposer creates perfect, symmetric, aliasing “mistakes” in your audio - and like your favorite overdrive/distortion/fuzz effect, it’s strikingly pleasing to the ear.

It’s bit-crusher meeting ring modulation meeting something entirely new. From subtle velvet buzz, to devastating melting fuzz, and strange combinations that unlock unexpected beating and tremolo effects, there’s a lot to discover with Superimposer - which can make anything sound like it’s coming from an alien amplifier - tread bravely!
